Tubing is one of our favorite things to do. Its great because we have these small, but fun and fast hills right across from our house. I love that I can let the kids just go by themselves if I want. (but usually, I decide to go too 'cause really, I'm just a big kid myself and I want to go play outside too!) Here, Haley and Jackson are de-icing "the engine"(our favorite tube... its faster than tall the others) so they have an extra fast run.
Jordan skinned his chin a few weeks ago tubing and the proof is still there. His poor little skin always takes so long to heal. He's so tough!
I always try to carry Jacob for a faster ascent, but he always insists upon walking. That's pretty good though because most kids his age would protest a walk that challenging for their size. What can I say? This boy is so independant and head strong. He is definately my most challenging child.....
Tubing with Sam, Case and Charlie was quite enjoyable for my kids. They were being very spoiled not having to carry up the tubes. They loved it! I had fun too, but it was so funny to me how the kids always want to ride down with me, and this day, not one of them would! They actually refused when I asked! But as soon as the guys had to leave, they all wanted to ride with me again. I went down twice by myself just so I could hear them beg and plead and it was so funny and quite enjoyable to hear all the little pleadings they came up with. I love my kids!
