Christmas Day Activities 08

Lots of eating of yummy food.... this caramel apple pie being just one of them.
The other delish foods were....
Prime Rib Roast, Smashed Potatoes,Green Bean-Califlower Salad, Steamed Asparagus with Lemon Parmesan Dressing, Stuffed Mushrooms, Whole Wheat Stuffing, Deviled Eggs, Fruit Salad, Beer Bread and Pumpkin Dump Cake.... Whew!! I really wish I'd taken a pic of the spread but I was a little busy and didn't think about it until it was too late.( Dell's mom took this pic because she loved this pie.) It was alot of food, but we had plenty of mouths to eat it all. Our family and Dell's mom, our friends, Scott and Anne Eppler joined us with their kids and Annes mom and then we all ate the leftovers again the next day. It was all really good and the company just made it even better. We love sharing our table with others.

We walked around camp. This is inside the heritage center. It's so fun and interesting to look and read about the camps 50 year old history.

Snowball fights. Here Jackson and Matt are throwing huge chunks of snow at each other. Matt and Emma are GPA's that are here until the end of Aug. They just got married the end of Oct. and decided to just stay at camp and spend their first Christmas together, away from family. We spent a ton of time with them Christmas week and we had a blast getting to know them and forming a friendship with them.

Emma, building a small snow thing, ( it by no means resembled a snowman) with Haley, Jordan and Sam Eppler. They had tons of fun even though the snow was not working with them.

The HR Christmas broomball team! We had so much fun playing with the kids and getting out of the house. We might just have to make this a tradition!
